I MAY NOT DRESS LIKE YOU

My name is Celina Broyles and I am a 28-year-old married mother of two beautiful children: Mason and Bella. When I was 12-years old, a dear friend of mine gave me a candleholder.  Inside that candleholder were famous quotes. These quotes were meant to motivate and inspire me everyday. I still have it after all these years. I could remember how much it helped me throughout my life. I wanted to create something similar. I wanted to do something that would empower and motivate women. I wanted to find a creative way that I could reach every woman I would encounter.  I have been ministering to women through women study-groups and conferences for ten years. I have a passion for uplifting others. Therefore, I came up with the mantra, I am Bella. As you may know Bella means beautiful in Italian.

I want every woman and every little girl to believe and feel that they are beautiful.   Many women suffer from a lack of self-esteem. Perhaps, it's because they didn't hear that they were beautiful throughout their life. I wanted to be the voice that could uplift, empower, and motivate the women that needed to hear it.  So, with the help of a friend, I created a heart- shaped box with a mirror on top. Inside the box, there are 30 inspirational and motivational quotes to be read daily. This would be my way of speaking to anyone who has the box. On the mirror I inscribed my mantra,  I am bella because I want every woman or girl who picks up the box to look at herself in the mirror and say; I am Bella.

I had emotional and physical challenges when I became pregnant with my first child. My body started to change in ways I couldn't imagine. I had stretch marks that I could not get rid of. At times, I didn't feel beautiful anymore.  No matter how much my husband told me I was beautiful and encouraged me, I still struggled to believe anything he said. I got caught up in what I saw on TV or in magazines. I believed in what the world perceived as beautiful. I came to realize that it wasn't reality. That's not real life. I had to look in the mirror and tell myself that I am beautiful and I am happy with the woman I have become.  I know it's a daily struggle for women everywhere. Every woman wants to feel beautiful or hear someone tell her that she is beautiful. My goal and mission in life are to uplift and empower as many women as possible.  I want every woman to believe that they are beautiful and perfectly made. We can all relate to each other on some level. I am bella & you are bella!

Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, skin-tones, and hair textures. To be bella all it takes is a heart full of love.  It also takes a mindset that believes you are bella just the way you are. When I think of beauty, I always thought about someone's outward appearance. Little did I know what matters is on the inside. A camera can't capture it and makeup can’t define it. Now that I know that I am bella, I want everyone to adopt the mantra as well. It starts on the inside. Accept who you are and let it show.  Things and people may change, but don't ever change what makes you bella , and that's LOVE. We are in this together. Join the

"I AM BELLA" movement!

P.S.  If no one tells you...YOU ARE BELLA!
